The quitting game, day 1

Spent over 24 hours without smoking, had the ridiculous idea of caving to the craving and got myself a cigarette. 

Bad move, very bad, 5 puffs later, not even half a cigarette and I’m breathing like i just ran a mile. 

What was I thinking?!

  1. I’ve been smoke free for years, I can say it does get easier. Something that helped me was to make a smoking diary. Whenever I craved for one I would record the time of day what i had just done and what I was doing. Started noticing a trend and even triggers. Knowing when your weakest moments are helps to prepare you to be stronger when it happens again.
