I’ve been trying to improve my recipe for overnight oats to get more flavour combinations, I was depending on the yoghurt flavours and on the protein powder which was quite limiting.
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 cup of plain plant base yoghurt
1/2 cup of plant base milk
1 Tbsp of chia seeds
1 cup of summer berries
1/2 tea spoon of maple or agave syrup
A handful of summer fruits for topping
A few mint leaves added to the blend
You will also need:
Blender or smoothie maker
Container with lid to rest your mix overnight
Measuring tools and spoon
Blend yoghurt, milk, fruit and mint and pour into the container.
Stir in the chia seeds and the oats, put the lid on and place in the fridge overnight.
Add toppings in the morning and enjoy.
